"Follow the River" Book by Frances Wright Turner

"Follow the River" Book by Frances Wright Turner

"Follow the River" is so-named because the early settlers founded their homes along the river banks to facilitate the building of gristmills, sawmills and ships.  The river which provides the setting for this story is the historic Penobscot River in Maine.

This book is clean, tight and square with sharp corners.  The dust jacket is a beautifully bright yellow color to accent mantel and shelf decorations.  The dust jacket is scuffed along the edges and has a notation in pencil on the inside left corner of Dog - 490, $5.00.
