Light Blue Graniteware Enamel Roasting Pan

Light Blue Graniteware Enamel Roasting Pan

This is the base of a vintage oven roaster from the 1930s. It clearly was used to make many a delicious meal and would not be safe for cooking any more - but - the color is amazing! This would be such a beautiful piece to display flowers in your garden, or as a serving tray for condiments and paper goods at your next barbecue. I even think it would be great for storing towels and soaps on an open shelf in the bathroom, if that is your style! Be creative - you won't be sorry from the eye-pleasing color it will bring to any spot you use it!

The pan features three ridges along the side and a black rim around the top and on the handles. There are indentations in the bottom of the pan which add visual interest.

It is in shabby-chic condition with obvious loss of enamel on the both sides of the bottom, and in a few spots around the side. There is also discoloration on the bottom from past cooking processes.
