Set of 4 Antique Silver Plate Mixed Dinner Forks and Teaspoons

Set of 4 Antique Silver Plate Mixed Dinner Forks and Teaspoons

$30.00

My sister-in-law's family was parting with the estate of their grandparents and Warmth & Cheer was the lucky recipient of much of their 1920s - 1940s silverware, dinnerware and kitchen items. The silverware had been stored unpolished for years and I was able to bring them back to their formal glory with a lot of elbow grease and silver polish. This set of two dinner forks and two teaspoons is a combination of single items from that estate, all quite old.

The four designs are as follows:

Fork #1 - Wm. Rogers Priscilla Lady Ann Fruit International Silver Overlay Dinner Fork. Marked on the back - Wm. Rogers Mfg Co. Original Rodgers. Excellent used condition with light wear and surface scratches. 1930s. 7 1/2" long

Fork #2 - 1847 Rogers Bros. Silver Plate Flatware from the late 1800s. Marked 1847 ROGERS BROS. Trademark used from 1862 on silverplated flatware production manufactured by Rogers brothers. A trade mark used by Meriden Britannia Company. Excellent used condition with light wear and surface scratches. 7 1/2" long

Spoon #1 - Wm. Rogers Alden Pattern teaspoon. Marked Wm. A Rogers Nickel Silver on the back. Excellent used condition with light wear and surface scratches. Some darker spots in the bowl of the spoon the tines. 1931. 6" long

Spoon #2 - Reed & Barton Amaryllis Pattern Excellent used condition with light wear and surface scratches. Wonderful finish for its age. Has an Old English M monogram on the back. Likely 1901. 5 7/8" long

They are lightly polished, could use a finishing polish and then they are ready for you table.
