Vintage Belleek Porcelain Cream and Sugar Set: Ribbon & Bow, Fish Scale

Vintage Belleek Porcelain Cream and Sugar Set: Ribbon & Bow, Fish Scale
$25.00
From an estate of a collector, these two pieces of Belleek Pottery are in excellent condition. I felt like it was nice to offer them as a set to add to your gifting options, or fill out, or begin a collection. There are two in the set:
1. Belleek porcelain Ribbon & Bow sugar bowl can be used for sugar, of course, but so many other things as well!! The sugar bowl is charmingly rendered in the shape of a small bag with a ribbon around the top tied into a sweet bow. The color is a very pale yellow and the ribbon and bow are just a few shades darker in yellow as well. The inside of the pieces is iridescent. This piece proudly wears the sixth green mark which means it was made between 1965 - 1980. Of course, it was crafted in Ireland.
2. Belleek porcelain Kilkenny Fish Scale creamer with all over patterned body, a wide and high pouring mouth and a cob lustre handle. Very pretty little piece that would look delightful filled with a small posy of pansies or other sweet flowers In a traditional pale cream ivory color china w/yellow luster handle. This piece proudly wears the fifth green mark which means it was made between 1955 - 1965. Of course, it was crafted in Ireland Dimensions: - 2" opening from spout to rim, 1 1/2" diameter at foot, 3" wide at handle, 4" tall
All pieces have the lovely luster and shine, for which Belleek porcelain is world famous. Just amazing!
I am always hesitant to say something is in perfect condition - but I can't find any marks, chips anywhere on any of the pieces. They could all use a gentle cleaning.
Belleek Pottery is Ireland's oldest pottery dating from 1857. They make beautiful Parian or white bisque porcelain and every handle and brush stroke is applied by hand. The quality is superb!
