This is such a striking piece - how will you use it? It is a handmade, rustic wood cubby with endless possibilities for use in your cottage, cabin or home. It has a rustic look and feel with its simple bottom shelf and arched back piece. I envision it on a side table with wine glasses and a wine bottle. The cork screw would fit in the shelf below. It would also be great in the office, kitchen, mantel or as a base for any number of seasonal displays. It is one of a kind, so use as you see fit!

This one has a lot of charming features:
-The top of the back has a curved (looks like a church window to me). There are some very old pieces of metal/nails in the top of this piece as I believe it was cut from a very old piece of wood.
-It has a substantial look and feel which works well for the base of design
-The base has a nice little "cubby" for display or storage
-It has nice symmetry in its design
-The finish is still nice
-The base allows it to be free standing steadily
-It could be drilled for hanging, if preferred

This piece shows just the right amount of age and nicks on the wood. The aging and marks on the wood add a lot of character.
