This is a lovely, Wilton Armetale bread tray, featuring a raised etching of a farmer during wheat harvest. Give us this Day our Daily Bread is etched in Gothic script around the image. It has a soft pewter like finish and the saying and imagery are etched into the piece. My mother-in-law had a very similar bread tray and used it every evening on the dinner table. It brought back such wonderful memories when I spied it at an Estate sale.

The tray is just perfect for a dinner party, loaded with breads or as an appetizer cracker tray to serve with your cheeses. It would also be a great little collect all tray/dish to set on the hall table. A good reminder to thank the Lord for all the abundance in our lives!

The back is marked Wilton Colombia PA USA with the RWP brand in a circle. There is also a paper sticker with RWP and 23202 affixed to the back.

This piece is in very nice condition. There are usage marks and scuffs throughout the piece, but no gouges or or rough edges. There is some slight rubbing off of the black outline on the outer and inner ridge lines. A nice cleaning and polishing would bring back it's rightful luster!
