I love the soft green cover of this book which sports a boy scout in blue and red with black and red letters. It would display well and maybe get your grandfather to reminisce a bit about his childhood!

These books were originally published by Graham & Matlack and then by Charles E Graham. The 1st three books were issued by Graham & Matlack as the "Up and Down" series and had different titles and all six books were published by Charles E Graham & Co who took over the company. Fredrick Gordon was a house name used by the Stratemeyer syndicate. There are six books in the series this is the first.
