Looking for the perfect vintage art piece to finish your little boy's bedroom, or playroom? Take a look at this one! It is a rare framed lithograph from Adolf Sehring, entitled End of A Perfect Day. In this lithograph print you see a young boy venturing back from spending time at this favorite fishing spot . He is heading down a well worn path with his fishing pole and basket in hand and his country home in the distance. There is immaculate attention to detail in the flowers of the field, the fence posts and the young boys hair. The image is when the late afternoon light is starting to turn to the time when shadows lengthen. Sehring seems to capture a moment in time for the young boy as he has not a "care in the world", thus the piece was entitled End of A Perfect Day.

This is a lithograph print that has a textured surface to add dimension to the elements of the piece and capture life well. The piece is in the most 1970s frame imaginable. Either this is exactly what you are looking for - or needs to be changed immediately - depending on your aesthetic.

The frame is molded off- white plastic with antiquing along the highly intricate details (swirls and pillowy looking designs). There is a wood inner liner that has been painted turquoise to reflect the colors in the painting.

The painting itself is in wonderful condition. A replica A Sehring signature is in the bottom left hand corner. The frame is equally nice with only one small piece of the frame missing on the back edge of the top.

On the back is End of A Perfect Day 201 stamped on the top on the cardboard back piece. There is a gold foil sticker End of A Perfect Day Adolph Sehring. There is also a sticker stapled on to the bottom of the back that gives the following bio for Mr. Sehring:
