Vintage Green Speckled Enamelware Sauce Pan with Lid

Vintage Green Speckled Enamelware Sauce Pan with Lid

$55.00
The first thing that caught my eye was the soft green color of this enamelware sauce pan. Then I looked closer and saw that it had a wonderful speckled surface, the original lid with a dome shape, a functional handle and perky little handle on the lid. Looking closer yet I saw that there was only a few spots of enamel loss and no holes anywhere and the piece sits level . Sold!

This is just waiting for you to find a creative use for it in your home! It has the perfect amount of enamel loss (no rust) to use it for storing hard goods such as kindling by the firepit, or pine cones in the Christmas display on the porch or for a planter in the garden or on the porch or deck or ....

This fun enamelware piece is circa 1930s to 1940s. It is a pretty soft green color with white speckles. The pot and lid are in solid condition with the handles still firmly attached and the bottom still level. There are three spots of enamel loss on the bottom of the pot. The black painted rims on the lid and pan also have scuffs and enamel loss. There is little to no rust though. The inside of the pot and the bottom of the pan show quite a bit of discoloration from use. I do not know if Bar Keepers Friend was lighten the discoloration - it has worked miracles on some of my own pieces, so it may be worth a try if the chalky look bothers you.

I see a lot of enamel pots but the lid is usually missing, or the handle is broken or the condition is no longer displayable. This piece has none of those flaws. It's really special!
