If you search for milk glass cake platter you can find many fine examples of this Anchor Hocking piece from the 1960s. However, this one is unique in that the edges of the scalloped glass have been accented with brown paint in a very vintage manner. It's such a great addition to the piece and moves it from a simple cake platter to a display worthy piece for the mantel or farmhouse kitchen shelves.

I believe this was made in the USA by Anchor Hocking in a pattern called "Old Colony", although there is no manufacturer markings. I also believe the brown accents were added outside of the factory.

In addition to the display worthiness it is the perfect size for cakes, cupcakes, cookies - and as a compliment to your vintage influenced food buffet. So charming.

The platter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains.
