These are so spring like! The colors of the apple blossoms are very vibrant and the design jumps right off the black background. The faux wood grain look of the handles, edges and backs are fun design elements as well. These trays were very popular in the 1960s. Each tray base is flat but the borders are a textured type design and rise slightly above base. There are two in the set. The back of each tray is marked Kentley Kentley Corporation Grand Rapids Mich.

These oversize Kentley Buffet Trays are approximately one third larger than ordinary "lap" trays. Each tray is large enough to accommodate luncheon plate, cup and saucer and accessories.

The trays are in wonderful condition structurally, still fully functional, without rips or tears. There are small spots of nicks to the black paper, primarily along the edges, the back and really lightly on the black background of the center. I think these could be cleaned up really well with a Sharpie or black paint. slight staining on a couple of the trays.
These would work so well for serving at your next get-together but also display wonderfully with their bright, apple blossom motif.
