This little beauty was a real treasure in it's day! It is a small purse/tote bag made of 100% cotton in a woven blue tapestry fabric. There are two etched silver pieces on the top that are the attachment point for the ribbon handles. The inside and bottom are blue chambray. The original label; Made in Italy Expressly for Norm Thompson, Norm Thompson, Portland Oregon, 100% Cotton Made in Italy is affixed on the interior. There is one small interior pocket and a cardboard liner on the bottom so the purse would sit nicely when full.

I just thought this was so pretty and worth a bit of rehab work for the right person. Everything is in very nice structural condition. The straps are soiled and would benefit from a gentle hand washing. The rest of the fabric, both inside and out appears quite clean and there are no rips, tears or off odors. The silver pieces have tarnished. I am not sure if they would polish up cleanly but it would be worth a try. The stitching that attaches the silver piece to the purse has come loose on one side and that could be easily repaired.
