This set of four cream heavy weight linen napkins with decorative stitched borders and a folk art dancing girl on one corner are really vibrant and eye-catching. They are in folk art colors of red and black on the natural linen background. The linen fabric has a hemstitch finish around the back side of each of the napkin. They are clearly hand made napkins from the stitching used at each corner to finish the pieces.

They are in very nice vintage shape. They do not seem to have been folded, but rather stored flat as there are really no crease marks on them.

The stitching is in very good shape - no snags or breaks in the embroidery that I observed. They are also hand rolled and finished on the edges of each napkin so I suspect they were hand made.

There is are no discoloration marks that I could find. Really pretty and display so well.

The colors put me in mind of either a summer barbecue or the Christmas holiday season. They could be used for either
