A friend has asked me to help him sell his mother's treasured Hummel collection, and what a treasure it is. There are 7 figurines in the collection and they seem to resonate around the theme of childhood happiness. I used the Complete Hummel Price Guide from 2017 from Antique-HQ.com to research each of the figurines and have priced them at the low end of the range of these values.

Hummel Figurines have been a part of many peoples lives over the years. There is a Hummel Figurine out there for almost every occasion; starting from “A Flower For You” to “Zealous Xylophonist”. Boys and girls doing everyday duties from picking apples to delivering letters. There is a methodology to identifying the age and title of Hummel figurines. There is the Hummel Number impressed in the base and the Hummel Trademark printed on the bottom. The Hummel Number can be cross-referenced to the Hummel Price Guide chart to identify the name of the figurine. The Hummel Trademark identifies the year produced. All of the figurines in this collection have the Trademark #2 from 1950 - 1955 from Goebel with the bee above the V in blue or green. They also have the cursive Hummel signature along the base in the back.
