This is a set of 3 volumes from the International Text Book Company from the 1920s. They are smaller desk top (almost pocket size) reference books on various business topics.
They are all from the International Correspondence Schools Scranton PA, published by the International Textbook Company. There are three in the set:
1 - The Civil Engineers Handbook. A convenient Reference Book for Chainmen, Rodmen, Transitmen, Levelers, Surveyors, as well as Draftsmen, Computers, and Railroad, Municipal , and Hydraulic Engineers. Copyright 1913. Printed in the USA. The Preface indicates - "In this little volume the publishers are offering to all who are interested a compact collection of principles, methods, formulas, and tables pertaining to the different branches of civil engineering". It begins with an Index and then includes multiple chapters with text, charts, formulas and pictures. Hard cover binding with bluish-gray paper covering. Brown end pages. Name written in ink on first page. No other writing. The title page is loose from the binding, all other pages in tact. No off smells.
