A throw back to the early readers of the 1930s! "A Child's Garden of Verses" -With Illustrations by Juanita C. Bennett, Copyright 1932 by Grosset & Dunlap, Inc. This is a compilation of verses by Robert Louis Stevenson. The illustrator writes - The pictures in this book are dedicated to my son Dick. The illustrations are frame worthy and just so beautiful, in full color.

There are numerous poems in the 60 pages of the book but this one was selected for the illustrations. The paper covered thick cardboard cover is in very rough shape and the stitched binding has failed. It has been taped to try and recover the structure of the book, but that has also now failed. But the illustrations , on heavy paper stock could be repurposed easily. There are full page images - amazing - but there are also small vignette images on the pages opposite the full illustrations and they are incredible as well.

All illustrations are available to be repurposed - no writing or tears in the pages (except for Page 59/60). 53 illustrations available, along with the images on fly leaves.

This would make a beautiful book to repurpose for crafting, framing, journal projects or collages.
