Another Treasure! "Games, Seat Work and Sense Training Exercises" by Martha Adelaide Holton (Supervisor of Primary Schools, Minneapolis, Minnesota" and Eugina Kimball. Copyright 1905 by A. Flanagan Company.

This prim little book was designed for teachers teaching a classroom with pupils of a variety of ages, such as at a one room schoolhouse. It has 124 pages of games, seat work, and sense training exercises to be used in the classroom. I would bet that some of these pieces are still in use today and children would enjoy the novelty of the historical background of those that are no longer in use.

It is 120 years old but still in really nice condition. There are a few stains to the tan fabric cover and wear to the corners, page edges, and spine which is normal for a book of this age. The binding is still in good condition and the pages are not brittle, making it easy to read even today. There is a name signed in pencil on the inside cover. The black script on the front cover is really a treasure as well. A very neat piece of educational history!

Wonderful book, incredible ads in the back as well.
