I was so excited when this collection came together! What a fun, vintage "vibe" gift for a chocolate loving new cook, seasoned cook or even a non-cook. These pieces look so great together and would compliment Farmhouse Kitchen décor perfectly, while being practical and useful.
Brown Gingham Apron - This is a really fun, authentic farmhouse kitchen cotton half apron. It has a base of light brown gingham with a chicken scratch design on the front and the waistband, pocket. Little applique brown and white daisies are scattered about the design as well. It is so sweet! I believe it is hand sewn and hand embroidered. There is a single large pocket on the front that also has the embroidered accent. This is done in the chicken-scratch embroidery style for the design, in darker brown thread. It has a hand rolled and machine stitched edges all the way around the piece. I have always been partial to gingham for the wholesome look, clean lines and sweet brightness it brings to wherever it is used. It is really cute, and nostalgic and would be fun to wear while baking or while making breakfast for the family! The only flaw noted in the piece is one small section of embroidery that has come loose. Very repairable. There is also a small stain on the front center. There are no rips or tears in the fabric anywhere. Dimensions: 20 1/4" long, 22" long waistband, 76 1/2" long from tie to tie
Two HALL Restaurant Ware Brown Ceramic Bowls - These little brown bowls would be perfect to serve the pudding that is on Page 56 of the Hershey's Cookbook! They are marked HALL Made in USA #391 on the bottom. They have high gloss brown exteriors and bright white interiors. Restaurant Ware is practically bulletproof and a mainstay of the 1950s diner. No chips or cracks, usage marks on the bottom of the inside and outside of bowls. Dimensions: 5 1/4" diameter at top, 2 7/8" diameter at base, 2" tall Set of Two
Vintage Hershey's Chocolate Cookbook, Hershey's 1934 Cookbook Revised and Expanded 1971, 8th Printing Hershey Food Corporation, Cookies, Candies, Cakes, Beverages - It is a reprint of the original 1934 cookbook that was revised and expanded with chocolate recipes brought up to date for use in today's kitchen (that today is 1971!) . This neutral-colored classic chocolate Hershey's Cookbook is absolutely adorable! The colors are amazing and the inside illustrations, are just so cute! This is a must-have vintage cookbook! It is in great vintage condition with just a few blemishes due to its age but no ripped or torn pages. Spiral bound with tight binding. Dimensions: 9 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 1/2"
