Moving into fall colors and tones for decorating is one of my favorite seasonal changes. Halloween is a nice focal point at the end of that timeframe as well. But, I have always, even as a little girl, been frightened by Halloween "spookiness". This year I have been on the hunt for items that could be used in Fall and Halloween decorating that are fun, light hearted and definitely unique. I have quite the collection brought together. This listing is really versatile and the perfect center point for display! Although there are no manufacturing markings to verify, I believe this is a LE Smith Mt Pleasant brand small cake stand or pedestal candy dish. This is just a beautiful black amethyst glass piece with a octagonal top tray/bowl that sits on a sweet pedestal. Around the edges of the top is neutral colored floral detailing. There are no chips or cracks in the glass, but the flowers do show some minor wear, which gives it an even more gothic appearance. Perfect for Halloween! These are a bit hard to find.
