This small decorative sugar and creamer was discovered at an estate auction of a collector/seller. These two items had a tag attached that indicated these items were a child's size creamer and sugar from Heisey Sahara. (The items DO NOT have any markings on them to indicate that this is valid information). When I searched other similar items from Heisey Sahara I note that they also had no manufacturer markings so I guess you just go on glass quality, color and design.

History: In 1896 Augustus H. Heisey, a German immigrant, founded A. H. Heisey & Co. in Newark, Ohio. The company produced high quality, handmade glassware that was sold throughout the country until the company closed at the end of 1957.

They are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or even surface wear. Really lovely! The color is a soft amber and it really reflects light tremendously. I think they would look lovely as small vases with fresh flowers or as a special piece on the Easter table.
