WOW! What an absolutely elegant antique Limoges France porcelain cabinet plate from Chateau China. It has a soft blue and gray color with subtle pink on the horizon all on a white plate.
The scene is a very nice subdued scene of a field of birch tree bordering a stream with a farmhouse in the background. Fun to note the farmer and dog on a pat in the center of the plate. Around the border are blue/gray poppies and gold accent lines on the outside and inside rims.

The back stamp is Chateau China in green with a picture of a castle and Limoges France. My research indicates this mark was used in the early 1900s.

The plate is in display worthy condition with no chips or cracks. No usage scratches on the image that I can identify. Some rubbing of the gold paint on the outer rim. The finish has a sheen that captures the light well. Such a nice find and rather rare!
