This really cute vintage needlepoint would serve the purpose of adding a pop of color, while keeping in the earth tone family well! The needlepoint was probably made in the 80's or so based on the style of the frame and the colors of the image. It features a bouquet of flowers with very fine work in thick wool thread. How can you go wrong with shabby chic orange and yellow roses with a few leafy green accents. It is completed on an off-white background.

The needlepoint is in excellent condition and very lovely and if your décor is shabby cottage, this would look really cute. It certainly fits the current "granny chic" design trend that is popping up everywhere around the internet! The frame is quite nice. It is gold painted wood with a beveled edge and antiquing accents. There are only the slightest of nicks in the paint on the frame.

It has a paper covering on the back with a hanging wire. The Old Frame House Hammond Louisiana is near the bottom edge.
