What a fun tin to add to your tin collection - this is a vintage Guildcraft floral round container with a quilted surface and lovely tapestry looking floral designs. It is designed to resemble needlepoint and it really does an excellent job at executing that intention! My research tells me that this vintage tin originally held Sunshine Biscuits and was made by Guildcraft in New York in the 1960s.

The container is in good vintage condition - there is some fading and dustiness to the exterior, particularly on the top and the lid has a few dents in the outside rim. There are a few areas of darkening along the top rim as well. The inside is quite clean with a start to oxidation and rusting along the bottom seam in about half of the area.

The gold bottom is marked on the bottom "Container by Guildcraft" New York USA

This container is a nice substantial size for storage. It would be really nice for storing mending and sewing supplies or in the craft room for corralling any number of small items. It also displays well and could be just the final touch you are looking for!
