This belongs in your Summer Celebration Mantel or Shelf display. It is just so cute. It is the original "Tiny Todkins, Homer Laughlin" cup and saucer with children dressed in period clothing playing baseball on the saucer and leap frog on the cup. It is an antique made of heavy porcelain with saucer and mug/tea cup with easy to grasp C handle. Extremely rare! and just look at those faces!

This hard to find piece would make a great addition to a Laughlin antique collector or a baseball or sports glassware collector.

The cup and saucer are chip and crack free, amazingly but there certainly is overall crazing and one spot of roughness along the rim of the saucer. The images of the children has some usage marks and light loss of color. The biggest age related issue is the gold trim along the edge of the saucer, cup and down the side of the handle has quite a bit of paint rubbed off. All in all, not bad for a set that was intended to be used by children and it is probably over 100 years old! It is as Cute as a Button!

There is no marking on the back but rest assured it is an authentic Homer Laughlin Tiny Todkins set.
