There is just something incredibly appealing about yellow flowers! This well executed original watercolor painting portrays the early summer colors of vibrant yellow blooms with greenery against a pale blue background, all arranged artfully in a vase. It is a really lovely presentation and an opportunity to own original art at an affordable price!

The piece is not currently framed, which allows your imagination to get to work to figure out the best way to set of the piece. I did place it in a few spots on various mantels and it shows well without a frame as well.

The painting is in very nice condition, no loss of paint anywhere on the piece. The top edge of the watercolor paper has a bit of a ragged edge, but no other issues noted.

It is signed in the lower left hand corner Helen H. Eldred. I found one other reference to this artist, identifying her as coming from Shelburne Vermont. The back of the piece has color bleed through from the watercolor on the front.
