This is book number 8 in that series from 1915 - Afloat On The Flood. All were written by Lawrence J. Leslie.

Th colored paper illustration attached to the fabric front cover is clean and bright and makes this book very worthy of display in the den, playroom, man cave or boys bedroom. There are also five pages of advertisements for books at the back of the book which are fun pieces of Americana.

This book is in very nice condition for its age. The fabric on the binding is stained the most and the front and back cover have lesser staining. There is slight wear on the corners and binding edges. The pages have yellowed but are in amazing condition. There are some random dark spots on the bottom ends. The inside cover has Melvin A. Hartman from Edith Baker 1915-1916 in ink and below it faintly in pencil is the same inscription.
