Found these books and puzzle during these "pickin" adventures and thought they would be such a treat for a little one in your life that was "truck crazy". I know a few little ones that would really enjoy these offerings! There are three in this set:
1. "Quiet Quincy" by Polly C. Kemp, Illustrated by Beverly Steigerwald, Copyright 1961 Whitman Publishing Company Tell-A-Tale Book. Corner rubbing and edge wear, cover is still bright. The story of a little boy who sneaks in the grocery delivery truck to 'help' deliver the groceries with Mr. Biggs. Great illustrations for this story that only makes sense in the 1960's. A collectible favorite! Pages inside are really nice. Erased Chris G. on first page and old sticker residue. Dimensions: 5 1/2" x 6 1/4"
2. "Let's Go, Trucks!" by David L. Harrison, Illustrated by Bill Dugan, Copyright 1973 Golden Press Little Gold Book. Second Printing 1976. This is a classic Little Golden Book for children aged 2-8 and features colorful illustrations by Bill Dugan and a fun narrative that follows different trucks on their adventures. This book is perfect for young readers who love transportation and bedtime stories. The large print and illustrations make it easy for children to follow along and imagine themselves on the road with the trucks. Slight corner rubbing and edge wear, cover is still bright. Image on cover is in a snowstorm so it looks like marks but is part of the picture! Torn paper along the binding edge on the front. Pages inside are in excellent condition other than first page is darkened from age. No writing in book, binding tight. Dimensions: 6 3/4" x 8"
3. "Transportation" 25 Piece Picture Puzzle from Puzzle Patch, Copyright 1999. Ages 3-7. The 25 pieces comprise of a variety of vehicles - Semi, Train, Bus, Garbage Truck, Van, Pickup Truck, Car and Tow Truck. Colorful graphical representation of vehicles. Cardboard frame puzzle in excellent condition. All pieces are included and no edge wear. Slight bowing of the frame. Dimensions: 10 3/4" x 14"
This is just a really fun set for the truck (transportation) lover in your life - child, or not!
