A set of two, sweet, children's Prayer books from the 1940s and 50s. They would be such sweet little books to add to a Christmas stocking or gift basket for a child that you know and love. There are two that are equally charming, included in this listing:
1 - Prayers for Children, A Little Golden Book from 1943, Illustrated by Rachel Taft Dixon, Prepared under the Supervision of Mary Reed, First Printing, this edition, July, 1943.

The book is in nice vintage condition, particularly on the inside. The colors are still vibrant on the illustrations, there are no rips or tears in the pages nor any stray writing on the inside. There are dark spots on some of the pages. The cover is also in nice condition with some edge and corner rubbing and one spot where the purple color is missing. The binding is strong and the book is holding together nicely. Dimensions: 8" x 6 3/4"

The cover is rougher. The edges are crinkled, the binding is fraying and the corners are ruffed. There a few scrapes in the surface but is is still holding together nicely. Dimensions: 6 3/4" x 5 5/8"
