What fun!

A stackable wood Palace Guard Puzzle that was Made in Czechoslovakia, likely 1970s.

These types of toys were made in Eastern Europe in the 1970s and 1980s and are quite collectible - and adorable. I am certain the young ones in your life could not resist playing with this dapper gentleman. High quality wood with a painted face and white painted hands. The light beige wood, with a center dowel, sits on a black base. The top three pieces beneath the face are painted red, white and blue. The next four have been stained red with painted white buttons. Two blue pieces represent his legs. He has a wonderful black cap.

Made in Czechoslovakia is imprinted on the base.

The paint on all the pieces is in really nice condition. Displays well, stands level and is ready to be enjoyed!

Dimensions: 7 3/4" tall, 2 1/2" across arms, 1 1/2" diameter of base
