This is a nice set of vintage school supplies, all related to writing. There are three items in the set; Regent Wax Crayons, Red Robin Erasers in the original box and a full box of Ticonderoga No.2 Soft Pencils.
1 - Regent Wax Crayons, Made in USA by United Crayon Company, Inc. Brooklyn NY Copyright 1947. They are noted to be Permanent, Waterproof and Distinct. Original box from the 1940s with dark blue background and red and neutral accents. Full set of crayons (8) with chevron print paper wrappers and original points still sharp. The box is missing the top tab, but otherwise in amazing condition for 70+ years old. Box - 2 3/4" x 3 7/8" x 1/2"
2 - Red Robin Erasers For Pencil No. 100 One Dozen from Berkson Bros., Inc. Chicago 12, Illinois. For Office and School Use. Full set of red erasers from the 1950s (12) included in the original box. Interestingly enough I could not find any information regarding this brand, product or company in my research, so I would call these rare! Box is in amazing condition for age, no broken corners, minimal scuffing and only a few spots of discoloration. Erasers are each labelled Red Robin Pencil Eraser 100. They have hardened with age and would not work well for erasing pencil marks today, but display really well. Box - 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 1/2", Erasers - 5/8" x 2 3/4"
3 - Full box of Ticonderoga World's Best Pencil #13882 No.2 - Soft. The box has an American Flag background with a portrait of Ethan Allen featured on the back. 12 pencils included, unsharpened. Everything is really nice condition with slight scuffing on the front of the box. These are original Ticonderoga pencils and this packaging was likely some of the last before moving manufacturing out of the US. These are the best pencils and I'm only including this box because I saved a full box for myself! Box - 1 7/8" x 7 5/8" x 3/4"
This is really cute and would make a great decoration for your home school classroom or work from home desk or kitchen chalk board.
