Vintage Gray Speckled Enamel Fish Steamer Pan with Lift-out Tray and Lid

Vintage Gray Speckled Enamel Fish Steamer Pan with Lift-out Tray and Lid
$145.00
What fun! In one of my most recent vintage wanderings, I came across the best selection of 1930s - 50s enamel ware with most in the blue-gray striped and speckled enamel so prevalent at that time. I see a lot of enamel, I am super selective of the pieces I bring to my customers. This collection is so nice! (I added a video of all the pieces, they are listed separately.)
The speckled blue-gray enamel details on this French style fish steamer/poaching pan with inner lift-out tray and original lid is hard to find, especially in this condition! The lift-out tray and lid still being included, the speckled blue-gray enamel design and the signs of use all make this a very attractive piece for display (or use). I think it would be a great item to use on a summer hamburger buffet to hold the buns, or even for plates and silverware. It would also be excellent on the sun porch for plants - the lift-out tray would be hung and used decoratively also. It's so unique, and quite rare.
The exterior and interior are nicely maintained. There are a few spots of enamel loss, most noticeably on the lid, one bottom corner of the main pan and along the top rim of the main pan. The spot on the lid is on the top and bottom, but there is not yet a hole in the enamel. The front of the pan has the remnants of the manufacturer label; I can only make out part of it - maybe COUNTRY? I wasn't able to find a match from this partial label. I'm estimating this to be from the 1950s and of a US Manufacturer.
This is one of those items that no matter where you set it down, it makes you smile! Perfect for any farmhouse kitchen display!
Dimensions:
22” long (handle to handle), 7 1/2" wide (at widest part of top),8 3/4" high (to top of handle on lid), 5 1/4" high (main pan only)
