I was hesitant to bring this large, handled, enamelware basin to Warmth & Cheer as I knew it would be more expensive to ship, but it is in such amazing condition, that I took the risk! I see a lot of graniteware/enamelware and anything with such a practical use is usually in pretty rough shape, because they were work horses in the kitchen and laundry room. I'm not sure how this one lasted so long in this condition.

The basin has wonderful speckled, tiger striped gray enamel on the inside and outside. There is a top curved rim and two substantial handles attached to the sides for ease of carrying. It is just waiting for you to find a creative use for it in your home! It has the perfect amount of enamel loss and rust spots to use it for storing hard goods such as kindling by the firepit, or pine cones in the Christmas display on the porch or for a planter in the garden or on the porch or deck or ....

The basin is in solid condition with the handles still firmly attached and bottom still level. The top rim has no noticeable dent or bends. The minimal spots of enamel loss are on the top rim, a few on the inside bottom and the most along the bottom rim. Some the spots have begun to rust but there are no holes all the way through. The handles have a few rougher areas.
