Add a touch of mid-century modernism to your kitchen with these vintage Westinghouse Gemco salt and pepper shakers. Made of sturdy glass, one has a classic almond biscuit color top, the other light gray., this set includes both a pepper and salt shaker. The shakers are feature the Gemco brand name on the glass bottoms and are a larger size. Would be great for outdoor cooking or camping. These shakers were manufactured in the United States between 1970-1979 and are a great addition to any collection of kitchen tools and gadgets.

These are in really nice vintage condition. There is one slight chip on the button of the gray top. No other chips, scratches or flaws in the glass or the plastic tops. The lids screw off for refilling. The dispensing mechanism is a small plastic button the falls forward when the bottle is tipped. Clever! Many of the pieces I found that were similar have a piece of cork on the bottom of the shaker top. This would not age well, so these do not have those pieces anymore but it would be easy to replace if that would improve functioning.

On the bottom of both the shakers is the W g 4 branding with is Westinghouse Gemco. The bottoms of the glass are also serrated to allow for better traction when at rest.

This would be a really cute set to add to your cook out picnic pieces. Just sweet nostalgia from the mid-century.
