Retro cool - a vintage pink ceramic divided dish with a scalloped pattern and scattered white designs.
It is marked "Made in USA No. 6" on the bottom. In the center is a round brass plated handle with a lovely bit of aging giving it perfect patina! This is a larger version of many I found in my research. It has three compartments, one that encompasses the entire half and two that make up the second half. Each of the compartments have ribbed lines running to the center, scalloped edges and a white design line randomly scattered throughout the surface.

While it is not marked California Pottery, the Made in the USA No. 6 marking and the distinct style matching those found in my research indicates that to be the case.

This piece is in really nice vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. It sits on four small, unglazed, feet on the base. There are some lines that adorn the edges as well that are not defects. Very unique.
