This plate is a one of a kind find as someone has hand painted an abstract scene of (what looks to me like) a European street scene with a river in the front. It is on a simple white ceramic plate that is unmarked. The painting is unsigned as well.

The plate is in very nice condition with only one small scratch in the paint on the bottom of the blue water. The outside rim is also still very chip or nick free. There is some fingerprinting on the surface that can be seen if you hold the plate at a certain angle so maybe the finishing glaze has receded a bit with age.

It's just quirky enough to be the perfect finishing piece someone was looking for - maybe it's you!
