I love to use this farmhouse green and tan as accents in my décor and this vintage Hanson Postage Scale is a perfect example of how those colors work for décor! And guess what, it can be used! I found that it weighed items closely equal to our mail room digital scale. There is a little dial behind the weighing platform that can be used to adjust to the correct zero measure.

The outside of the scales is creamy off-white plastic and the front label has green and off-white letters and numbers. The Hanson Scale logo is on the bottom. The top weighing platform is gold aluminum and it has a red arrow weight indicator. There are some dirty spots on one side and a few scrapes on the top gold platform. This condition is perfect for that vintage flair in your mid-century bar, office, work station or mail drop area? The possibilities are limitless with the neutral coloring and vintage vibe.
