This is a really cool piece from Meister Made in Brazil, and rather hard to find without a lot of rust on the outside. It is also unique for this brand to have a pull off lid with a button handle on the top.

The design of the tin is very sweet. It has a soft forest green background with 6 round rose filled decorative medallions encircling the base. Embossed gold braided trim is above and below the medallions. The lid has a gold rim with embossed braided accents and a swirled gold top button handle (I believe it is plastic) firmly affixed on top.

This is a beautiful tin to use as a decorative accent in your home. Perfect for sewing notions, small desk accessories or set on a vanity. A very nice gift for Grandma filled with her favorite cookies or candy. (See note below)

The tin is in very good vintage condition on the exterior. Just a few spots of paint loss and scratching along the outside rim of the lid. There is some roughness on the outside that is beginning to be paint loss but it has not yet peeled away. The interior is quite compromised and has rust spots throughout. It is an amazing contract between the outside condition and the inside. The design of this tin is so wonderful it would be worth adding a liner (if you are so talented) to allow it to be used as a gift container. The lid fits snuggly and is slightly hard to get on and off but you know it wont come loose easily!

The bottom reads Meister Made in Brazil. The bottom has three feet and also has quite a bit of scuffing. Meister Made in Brazil 25063-5 is also along the bottom edge.

This displays well and could be just the final touch you are looking for! This was found with a collection of vintage tins. The last picture shows the collection. They are all listed separately.
