I love to build collections from items found at Estate sales. I found these items at two different locations and thought they would work so well as a Pretend Paly set for the little one in your life that likes to "play restaurant" or would get a kick out of creating menu pages for your meals. This is a set of three items, as follows:

1- Pad of Maxwell House Coffee Menu Pages. Simple newsprint paper stock with a top blue printed banner of an elegant coffee service and Menu We serve only the best in coffee, that's Maxwell House. The bottom banner is Maxwell House Coffee in the same blue print. Papers are darkened with age but in great shape otherwise. Glued together on top edge. 13 pages. Dimensions: 6"x 9"

2. Over 100 loose pages of Menu Suggestions. Simple newsprint paper stock with a top brown printed banner Menu Suggestions. The bottom banner is And, of course, King Coffee Inc. with the King logo in the same brown print. Papers are darkened with age but in great shape otherwise with just a few edge ruffles. Dimensions: 6 1/4” X 9 1/2”

3. Three Maxwell House Coffee Menu pages with typewritten menu items, with prices. Breakfast Menu, Sandwiches and #3 are the headings. Three, unlabeled typewritten menu pages that may have been the first draft of the ones on the Maxwell House pages. These were drafts for final menus as there are erasures, changes to prices and hand written marks. Edges are quite tattered and dirty. Fun to include to spark the imagination! (6 pages in total)

4. A fabulous vintage receipt book for Owl Drug Co. of Rexall in Vancouver and Victoria in B.C. Canada! These are duplicate receipts with a carbon paper attached in the front of the booklet. Each duplicate set is attached at the bottom with perforations for easy separation. The book contains 50 numbered sets (100 total pages). Both the original and the duplicate bear the same sequence number on the bottom left corner. The original receipts are printed in black and the duplicates are printed in red. There is no hard backing on the receipt books, simply the heavier paper front and back covers. The front cover is printed with an illustration of a receipt pad in a similar but slightly lighter red that the duplicate receipts are printed in. These would be perfect for your little server to take orders - and give receipts! Dimensions: 8 5/8" x 6" x 3/8”
