I loved finding this booklet, buried under a myriad of cookbooks at an Estate Sale. This booklet, "Kellogg's Funny Jungleland" Moving-Pictures No. 211 booklet was published by Kellogg's Battle Creek Mich in 1932.

This fun advertising piece was from Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Pep Bran Flakes and Rice Krispies. The theme is exotic animals in formal dress on the front and a circus clown on the bac. Inside, there are three panels of pictures of animals in fun costumes. On top of those panels are six strips of additional animal components which you can mix and match to create different looking animal creations (thus why it is entitled Moving-Pictures). See the video to get a sense of the whimsical nature of the illustrations! Underneath the animal characters is fun rhyming prose.

The condition of this booklet is really nice. Everything is on heavy cardstock paper. The staples are still firmly in place. There is very little surface damage to any of the panels. the front cover has the most scuffing along the edges and in the corners. Vern is written in pencil on the bottom of the front and top of the back cover. No tearing or other extraneous writing.

The Advertising copy on the back reads; It's a toss-up which to eat. Kellogg's Foods you just can't beat Always good, Rice, Corn, or Wheat.
