Do you have a little one in your life that has a fascination with animals and the circus? This would be a fun little set to play around with - you could bake some cookies or decorate a cake that mirrors the characters in the book! This is a set of two circus themed items:

1 - Tala Ware Circus Cutters, No. 9130, Made in England. Really neat little set of metal cutters that includes all of the original 6 cutters. There is a penguin, hippo, seal, elephant, dancing bear and pelican (quite the selection!). The box has a nice paper covering with a print of circus cookies and cake decorations on the original label. The label reads Tala Ware Circus Cutters No. 9130 Made in England. Inside there is a paper liner with decorative pictures of the cutters.

The six cutters are in nice condition with surface oxidation, but no rusting. I think they could be buffed with some steel wool, washed and be useable. The cardboard box is in really nice condition with no tears in any of the corners, very sturdy There is surface staining on the top paper cover and sticky residue from the original price sticker. There are age stains on the bottom decorative paper and the back of the box and box lid as well. Likely early 1960s. Dimensions: Box - 6" x 6 3/4" x 1 1/4" , Cutters - 3 3/4" long

2 - This is the most wonderful children's ABC book entitled Circus ABC! Written by Kathryn Jackson. Pictures by J. P. Miller. Published by Golden Press. A Little Silver Book. Copyright 1954, 1955. 24 pages. Softbound. Beautiful color illustrations on every page!

Properly aged to perfection! Some wear to the front and back covers and spine. Small pieces missing to corners of front cover. Spot on front cover where color is torn away (maybe where the original price tag was?) Inside pages are in great overall condition with original staples in place. Plenty of great illustrations and cute verse! Dimensions: 5 7/8" x 8 1/2"
