This is a pair of whimsical (almost irreverent) gold and white hand-painted Santa Claus figurines. They are wearing the traditional Santa suit, only the coat and pants are painted gold with white accents on the hat, gloves, mittens and button. Of course, black boots. One is holding an upraised bell and the other has his sack over his shoulder. Both have their heads cocked to the side and jolly cheeks and full beards. They look jolly for sure!

No chips, cracks or repairs on the toy sack one. There is some missing gold paint on the bell ringer.
It would be so easy to touch that up with a gold paint pen, but I will leave that to the next owner, if desired. They both are slightly dirty, especially in the creases, and would benefit from a nice gentle cleaning.

They are missing the Made in Japan foil label (although I have found similar and am comfortable that is where they are from). They are made of Chalk ware with hand painted finishes. They both have 1964 in black marker written on theire bases.

Mid-century Christmas decor at it's finest!
