Imagine using this as a part of an Easter basket this season! It could hold some foil wrapped chocolate eggs or jelly beans. It would also be a great addition to your Spring and Easter décor. The pensive face on this little chick is so sweet. The artist (signed on the bottom Kathy) had a deft hand. The hand painted piece has embossed feather detail and it is expertly painted. The sweet baby blue bow around the neck is a nice accent as well.

It is marked on the bottom Kathy. I believe it is from a paint your own standard white ceramic that Kathy has made to look so charming. Inside the pieces are glossy white.

The condition of this darling little piece is vintage terrific; there are no chips, cracks or damage. (It could use a gentle cleaning). There is one spot on the light blue bow that has a dab of yellow paint but I think it is a chip in the paint, but rather from the original execution.

This is just too wonderful to pass up; it has been the perfect accent in our Welcome to Spring mantel display!
