This is a really special book which tells the history of the US Presidents from George Washington through to Franklin Delano Rosevelt with each President having a one page synopsis of the conditions of their Presidential terms. It would be a perfect addition to the Independence Day mantel or shelf display, or in the Home School library. It looks great with the Faneuil Hall Wedgewood Plate that is sold separately.

The Index in the back lists all Presidents included in alphabetical order by their last name. The book was published in 1936 by Rand McNally & Company. Made in the U.S.A. Most of the photographs have individual credits for their source.

The book is in nice condition. The cover has some signs of age with roughened corners, edges and a breakdown in the red paper covering along the binding and edges. The pages have colored with age but the binding is still very strong. The front fly leaf has some pencil designs from a childs hand and there are some tick marks on the Index listing. Two of the pages have slight tears in the photo pages. All pages are in tact.
