This is B. M. Bower's 1915 novel, "The Flying U's Last Stand". Another fantastic sequel to "Chip of the Flying U", this book is not to be missed by those who have read and enjoyed other books in this classic Western series. Highly recommended for fans of Western adventure fiction and worthy of a place on any bookshelf. The front cover has a wonderful steers head image in orange with black type face, all on a olive green background. Displays well!

Bower, who was an American author famous for her novels, short stories, and screenplays set in the American Old West. This hardcover book is in very nice condition for its age. The green fabric cover on the front, back and binding has some surface staining but no significant rips or tears or extraneous marking. There is slight wear on the corners and binding edges (for over 110 years old). The pages have yellowed but are in amazing condition. There are some random dark spots on the bottom ends. The inside cover has To Francie from Vina written in pencil.
