This is the standard issue yearbook for graduates of Basic Training at Fort Knox. The front 2/3rds of the book includes stock color and black and white photographs of life for recruits during basic training. There is an introductory letter from Major General Ralph J. Butchers and then sections on Barracks Life, Military Drill, Physical Training, The M 1 Rifle Classroom and P.R. I Circle, First Aid, Field Fortifications, Camouflage, Field Sanitation, Transition Range, Squad Tactical Training, CBR, Combat, Grenades, Chow in the Field and quite a few more. The last part of the book contains the November 18, 1960 Graduation, Co B 6th Battalion, 3rd Regiment Officers and Cadre and pictures of all the graduates. Boy do they look young!

The hard cover is in really nice shape, the inside pages are heavy glossy paper and there is no writing, tears, creases or missing pages. There is a slight waviness to the pages at the top of the book so they may have gotten moist at one time. Only a slight musty smell.

Great conversation piece or gift idea for someone in the military from that area and era!
