Vintage Framed Harbor Print by Jay Killian: Colonial Ship Art

Vintage Framed Harbor Print by Jay Killian: Colonial Ship Art
$65.00
What a lovely color print by the American artist, Jay Killian. The print is signed in-plate to the lower left. This piece depicts a harbor scene in which a large wooden schooner is coming into the harbor. The masthead of another schooner is in the foreground and a third ship is on the horizon. Surrounding the ships are details of the harbor, dock, barrels and even sea gulls. Really subtle colors and authentic look of a colonial times harbor.
The piece is very nicely framed with a double mat and thin burl wood frame. Really sets the piece of nicely, without competing with the art. It is behind glass.
The print has one spot where there is a ding in the surface, just under the mast. Otherwise in really nice condition. There is a slight waviness to the paper near the top, by the mat edge. The frame is in amazing condition. Square corners and little to no scuffing. The back has newer brown backing paper and a sturdy hanging wire.
The artist background I found in my research:
