This is such a sweet, little, original oil painting from Margie Williamson that is calling out to be re-matted and framed to add to you gallery wall. Currently the rectangular painting has a double matt in neutral tones and an oval cut out, that does a wonderful job of framing the flowers.

The painting itself is really vibrant and the white petals on the wildflowers are heavily textured.
The delicate greenery around the flowers is a nice touch. The piece is signed on the front and back.
The back indicates by Margie Williamson July - 1979 in Pecos Texas. The neutral color mats are a bit tired and the edges are slightly ruffled. I believe she may be an artist that lived and worked in Pecos Texas and passed in 2021 in her eighties.

The painting is in very nice condition, no loss of paint anywhere on the piece. There are areas where the flowers are more abstract and areas where paint has been layered to add dimension. It is also a unique size and could be just the right finishing piece for your gallery wall!
