Oh my goodness! You need this at the cottage or cabin for the little ones in your life. It is a whimsical bright blue flannel and yellow cotton baby blanket/play mat or quilt with 10 embroidered scenes of children and their little dog having fun with winter activities.

The scenes are embroidered with bright colored thread in primary colors with brown and black accents. Alternating with the embroidered squares are bright blue flannel squares. The backing is a light blue flannel. There is no batting.

The squares are machine stitched together and the embroidery is on top. The cotton fabric is very clean and soft. If you did not want to use as is, the embroidered panels would be perfect to add to upgraded fabric to make a new coverlet or pillows or framed for nursery designs.

The embroidery is in really amazing condition for it's age. I note only one small repair in the embroidery - the nose on the Puppy "Claus" has been repaired. The flannel is clean and soft but it really shows surface piling due to it's age and numerous washings.
