This is a rare copy of Hammond's World Travelog from 1960, I believe it is the third printing. The first printing was in 1957. It is authored by the Editorial Staff of C.S. Hammond & Co. The Title page indicates it includes Full-color and Due-Tone Photographs plus 81 Maps of the World's Major Cities. The fly leaf on the book jacket indicates there are 32 Pages of Full-Color Photographs, 500 Additional Photographs in glowing Duotone, 82 Detailed Street Maps and 7 Double Page Continent Maps. 256 Pages in Total, including Index.

This book is in really nice condition. The pages are slightly yellowing from age, but are all firmly connected to the spine, which is very tight.
The hardcover book is a stately black fabric with a brown wrapped binding with gold trim and gold lettering down the spine. The book jacket is a colorful presentation of countries included in the book with the Hammond's World Travelog title. The book jacket is protected by a Krack-A-Jack Polyester Film sheet so everything is in amazing condition, considering it is over 60 years old. There is a small tear in the book jacket on the bottom inside corner and the covering has some wrinkling along the top inside edge.

A really interesting coffee table book to bring the perspective of the world from the bygone Cold Ware era. This is a treaure!
