1960s General Industrial Machine Shop Book: Collectible Manufacturing History

1960s General Industrial Machine Shop Book: Collectible Manufacturing History

$22.50
What a wonderful gift for a manufacturing/plant maintenance enthusiast or history buff. It is display worthy and full of details on the early operation of an Industrial Machine Shop. It was authored by Harold V. Johnson a Professor in the Industrial Education Department of Canton Community College, Canton Illinois, Copyright 1963, 1st Printing. It was published by C.A. Bennett Company.

This is a really cool old text book with many black and white photographs and colored diagrams along with a wealth of information on the subject. The art work on the cover is display worthy! The binding is strong and all pages are included except the title page. The first Title page of the book appears to have been cut out. I believe it is an ex-library book as there is residue of glue from where the checkout pocket was attached on the back page and on the bottom of the binding. There are no torn pages

This is a gem! I was only able to find one other copy of this edition of this book in my research. The Third edition seems more available. binding is tight and all pages are included without rips, tears or dog ears. There are drawings, diagrams and charts on just about every page.
